HISTORY
Kingsmead was first opened by Dave Davidson in 1993 opposite its namesake, the Kingsmead Cricket ground. It was one of the first big box footwear retailers in the country and grew from strength to strength over the years opening stores across South Africa.

Kingsmead has become one of the leading family shoe stores in the country and is still family owned and managed.
